    The Speedmaster is one of OMEGA’s most iconic timepieces. Having been a part of all six lunar missions, the timepiece is an impressive representation of the brand’s adventurous pioneering spirit.
    This 40.50 mm model, inspired by the legendary 1957 original, features a stainless steel case and a black dial with recessed hour markers showing vintage Super-LumiNova from beneath. Along with rhodium-plated “Broad Arrow” hands, there is a date window at 6 o'clock, a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, and 12-hour and 60-minute chronograph recorders on the subdial at 3 o’clock.
    The brushed bezel includes a blackened tachymeter scale, while on the caseback, there is a “Speedmaster ‘57” engraving as well as a flat sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment inside.
    The watch is presented on a matching bracelet with OMEGA’s patented comfort release adjustment system, and is driven by the manual-winding OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9906.

    • Anti-magnetic: The movement is unaffected by exposure to strong magnetic fields, even those greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss).
    • Chronograph: The chronograph function is a mechanism for measuring time intervals. A Chronograph Watch can therefore be used to time events while displaying the time like any traditional watch.
    • Chronometer: Label given to a watch which has undergone precision tests and received a certificate from an official body (COSC).
    • Master Chronometer: Guaranteeing the Swiss industry’s highest standard of precision, performance and magnetic-resistance, as set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
    • Small seconds: A hand on a sub-dial which tracks seconds typically it completes a full rotation in one minute.
    • Tachymeter: A tachymeter watch has a function for measuring speed. It is a Chronograph with a graduated dial on which speed can be read in kilometres per hour based on a 1000 metre distance.
    • Time zone function: Allows the hour hand to be easily adjusted to different time zones without stopping the watch.
    • Transparent caseback: A transparent caseback - frequently made of sapphire - makes it possible to see the movement inside the watch.
    • Date: The day of the month, displayed in a window on a watch dial at the 3 or 6 o’clock position, or within a subdial at 9 o'clock.

Was hunting for a Seiko astron for a while. Found this place listed as an authorized dealer and decided to look around. Was walking around Menlo Park Mall and saw some posters outside this Jewelry Store that piqued my interest so I walked in and was greeted by really kind and knowledgeable staff. Ended up getting something I wanted for a while thats hard to find in stock at most places, but they had it available and offered me a great deal for it too!
